Meet Shayla Nelson
As both a performer and educator, I am passionate about helping students develop their musical skills, confidence, and Artistry in a welcoming and supportive environment. I personalize each of my student’s lessons to support their needs, goals, and learning styles. My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and a Master’s degree in Music Education, providing me with a strong foundation in both performance and teaching. Through my experience as a performer, I understand the dedication, discipline, and joy that comes from sharing and pursuing music. The gift of sharing and cultivating music is shared with my students in their own lessons.
Whether a student is taking their first lesson, preparing for a performance, or pursuing college auditions, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where each student can share their musical voice, grow, and achieve their goals, while developing a lifelong appreciation for music.
